Sixteen!

Sixteen months that is! Today! Yesterday was a beautiful day and we spent a long time playing outside. Mia likes to see all the people and play in the park across the street. She is very good at running and likes to be chased. She is working on her "jumping." Mia had a long stretch of sickness with a bad cold but seems to back to herself finally and we are all happy about that. Our friend Jenna visited this past weekend and Mia loooooved having her here and still points to the guest room and says "Jenna?" and then "shhhhh, sleep" because we had to be quiet at 6am when Jenna was still asleep. Jenna also got big points in Mia's book because Jenna let Mia play the banjo for the first time.

These days Mia still likes to sing, dance, and read books. She also likes to carry bags around and pretend play with her doll and animals. Last night we watched her read her doll T a book. He seemed to really like it. She can make lots of animal sounds and is starting to put words together like "Mia eats." Enjoy the pictures!
